Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Delete X/Twitter Posts ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

Description of Service

Delete X/Twitter Posts is a browser extension that allows users to load, review, filter, export, and delete posts from their own X (formerly Twitter) profile through their active browser session. The Service provides functionality to bulk delete tweets, reposts, and replies, and to export post data in formats including CSV, JSON, and XLSX before deletion.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any international, federal, provincial, or local laws or regulations
• Use the Service to delete posts from accounts that you do not own or control
• Infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
• Harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, or discriminate against others
• Use the Service to spam, phish, or conduct fraudulent activities
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated bots or scrapers to access the Service excessively

X/Twitter Terms of Service

You must comply with X/Twitter's Terms of Service and all applicable laws when using our Service. The Service is designed to manage only posts from your own X/Twitter profile through your logged-in browser session. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with X/Twitter's policies, including their automation rules and rate limits.

Permanent Deletion Warning

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Posts deleted through the Service are permanently removed from X/Twitter and cannot be recovered
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and confirming your selection before deletion
• We recommend exporting a local backup before deleting any posts
• We are not responsible for any posts you delete, whether intentionally or by mistake

Data and Privacy

Regarding data handling and privacy:

• The Service only accesses posts available to your current logged-in X/Twitter session
• Post loading, filtering, selection, export, and deletion all happen locally in your browser
• We do not store or transmit your tweet content, filters, or selected posts to our servers
• You are responsible for how you use and store the exported data

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of echobot.dev and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.

Subscription and Payment

For Pro subscriptions:

• Subscription fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis
• Payments are processed securely through third-party providers (Paddle and PayPal)
• You can cancel your subscription at any time
• No refunds will be issued for partial subscription periods
• We may change subscription fees with 30 days notice

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or illegal activities. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

Important Disclaimers:

• The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Deleted posts cannot be recovered; we are not responsible for data loss
• The Service's availability depends on X/Twitter's website and internal APIs, which may change at any time
• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with X Corp. or Twitter

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, echobot.dev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless echobot.dev and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees).

Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which echobot.dev operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website prior to the effective date of the changes. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
